French Broad River Brewery is more than just great craft beer and delicious pizza. We’re also a hub for live entertainment and community events throughout the week! Whether you’re looking to enjoy some live music, test your trivia knowledge, or chill in the taproom for a Sunday reggae session, we’ve got something for everyone. Check out our weekly events below and join us for some fun at the brewery.
Weekly Lineup
We host four recurring weekly events in the taproom. These weekly events are free to attend. Just bring yourself, your friends, and your love for great beer and entertainment!
- Tuesdays, 7-9 pm: Trivia with Robert’s Totally Rad Trivia
- Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm:Jam Grass Jam Bluegrass Night with The Saylor Brothers
- Thursdays, 6-9 pm: Jerry’s Dead Thursdays
- Sundays, 3-6 pm: Reggae Sunday with Chalwa Roots
Our Local Community
Our community means everything to us. Our locals crowd is a family that has been building and growing for over 20 years, and they’ve truly helped make us who we are today. Each weekly event brings a unique and cherished crowd of regulars as well as many many new faces. With a fantastic lineup live events throughout the week, a friendly and welcoming staff, a craft beer for everyone’s tastes, pizza, and more, there’s always a reason to stop by and join the fun. Stelllaaaaaaaa! We’re long overdue for a community spotlight post 💚 You may recognize Stella and Jason from the taproom or even our Instagram stories (Jason posts a photo or video of Stella at bluegrass almost every week, which we love to see and always repost).
These two are a staple of our community, especially on Wednesday nights, which has become known as “Stella’s favorite day of the week”. Stella brings so much joy to the taproom with each person she meets. Stella is a 10 year old St. Bernard with a heart of gold, a love for live music, and an awesome owner to match. The company of these two and the rest of the Jam Grass Jam Fam is something we look forward to every week 💜

It’s dog day 🐶 We like to think of Tuesday as dog day because everyone brings their pups to trivia, and it’s the best.
These very sweet and well behaved doggos are Daisy and Mogley. They were loving life hanging out in the taproom the other day. Daisy said her favorite beer was the Citrus Kolsch but Mogley’s was Frog Horn. They agreed to disagree💚

We just tapped our very last keg of The Asheville Beer Week Summer Ale, our collab beer with Sierra Nevada. As sad as we are to see it go, we’re glad that you all loved this small batch so much!
