Modelface Comedy Club brings the best local and touring comedians to Asheville! This week we have Denver legend Ben Roy at FBRB!
If you aren’t familiar with Ben Roy, he’s been taking comedy audiences by storm since 2004, bringing an unparalleled energy and unique voice to the stage. Often compared to Lewis Black or Bill Hicks due to his passionate, ranting approach, Roy has a style that is definitively his own.

Two-time Grammy Award–winning bassist Oteil Burbridge has spent more than three decades touring and recording at the highest level of modern music. Most recently known for his role in Dead & Company, Oteil joined Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart alongside John Mayer for ten major tours, helping carry forward the Grateful Dead legacy for a new generation.
Oteil and Modelface Comedy are ticketed events. The taproom will be closed to the general public all day Sunday and Friday night to accommodate those events.
Our taproom is dog and family-friendly. We have food and drink on-site. Come out and join us!🍻🍕
Happy reggae Sunday! Just a little PSA for our friends coming out to @chalwaroots today (7/26), our back parking lot may be a bit congested/have some disturbances as our stage crew begins building this big old beauty! The lot will still be open, it might just be a little busy and/or cramped!

A flashback Friday to last summer when Steel Pulse celebrated their 50th year anniversary with us! Hard to believe it’s already been a year. We’re counting down the days until they’re back on our stage. The crowd, the music, the sunset…it was one of those nights that stuck with us.

We are SO excited to have @millersistersband back on the taproom stage tonight 💜 This group captivates the crowd in such a unique way. Usually the taproom is filled with dancing, but something pretty magical happens when these gals and guys are up on stage - the people sit, listen, watch attentively, appreciate, and sometimes even shed a tear. We`re less than a month out from Leftover Salmon`s annual Brew Ridge Jam on August 21! Empire Strikes Brass and Coyote Rodeo will be warming things up before Leftover Salmon takes the stage.
