Community Spotlight/ Vendor shoutout🍻✨ It’s been a while since we posted a community spotlight… this one goes out to @cre8lin who vends with us every once in a while on Thursdays and at weekend shows.
As we all know, winter is the slow season for both local businesses & local artists. If you’re on the market for something special & handmade, be sure to stroll by the vendor booths whenever they’re setup in our taproom, which is every Thursday for @jerrysdeadofficial as well as some Wednesdays and weekends. If you’re not in a shopping mood, you can always support local artists by following them on social media!

Jazz brunch is back at French Broad River Brewery this Saturday 1/31 11AM-2PM!
We will be opening early for this special event and we hope y’all will all join us for some jazzzzy, mid-day, cozy winter taproom vibes. We’ll have an extra special brunch menu, craft beer, mimosas, and of course, beer-mosas, all alongside jazz music from the talented jazz fusion trio, “Four Peanuts”.
The group explores both original compositions and zesty covers of tunes you may or may not know. The trio features Alex Taub on keyboards, Brennan Dugan on bass, and Joe Enright on drums, and will certainly leave your peanuts salted and boiled to perfection!
We hope to see you there🎷🎶🍻

M*A*R*S*H is cancelled and the taproom/pizza shop will be closing at 4pm today!
@chalwaroots is cancelled and we will be closed all day Sunday! Monday is TBD.
Pop in to grab some beer to-go before the weather ramps up, but please everyone be safe and stay off the roads as we move into the night. Take care of yourselves and be careful❄️

We’re not quite sure what will happen with this winter storm, but we will of course post updates if we do choose to close or if any of our events are canceled. In the case that business is running as usual, please do not come out to the brewery if you’re not safely able to. Check the roads, make sure your power is on, take care of you first! Safety first, beer second. Be careful out there y’all!

Friday 6-9 PM: The Miller Sisters
The Miller Sisters are a talented 4-piece band and some of our amazing brewery regulars, to the taproom stage! These local music lovers are often in the crowd cheering on our weekly musicians, and now it’s their turn to take the spotlight. Bringing a unique sound and a vibe that feels like home, the Miller Sisters bring the perfect show for a summer night at the taproom. We couldn’t be more excited to have them perform on our stage and highlight their talent within our community.
Saturday 6-9 PM: M*A*R*S*H (tbd)
M*A*R*S*H is a rock quartet featuring songs written by Tim Marsh from Jerry’s Dead, Chalwa and The Everydays. Switching between acoustic and electric guitars, Marsh is accompanied by Toma Fuller on keys and vocals, Brandon Holder on bass and vocals and Mike Rhodes of Blue Rags fame on drums. Focusing on harmonies and improvisation, M*A*R*S*H delivers their well crafted original tunes with some choice covers thrown in the mix.
Of course, we’ve also got @chalwaroots Sunday 3-6pm! (tbd)

• @jacoozytheband is a five-piece band originally formed in Boone, North Carolina, now making waves from their home base in Asheville. Blending rock, funk, jazz, and alternative, Jacoozy crafts a sound that’s both eclectic and unmistakably their own.
• @shedbugsmusic create an improvisational blend of blues, funk, and psychedelic rock while striving to never play the same show twice.
• @cloudsofdelusionofficial is a band centered around Grateful Dead music and the wider catalog of jam band influence. A 5-piece band, they are fascinated by the improv, smitten with the songs and dedicated to the dance party!
