As we approach our party this weekend and look through old photos, we’re reminded of what a uniquely beautiful community we have built💚 We hope to see you all this Saturday and Sunday to celebrate this milestone!

It’s been quite the journey over these past 25 years and we couldn’t be more grateful for all of the beer we’ve brewed, memories we’ve made, and relationships we’ve built. Not only is August our anniversary month, but we also thought we’d take this time to celebrate a grand reopening, since we didn’t go all out when we opened back up post-Helene rebuild. This 25 year milestone and the accomplishment of getting back up and running after 7 months of being closed is something worth celebrating, and there’s no better way to honor our roots and our community than with live music from our resident artists, our regular art vendors, delicious local food, and of course, our favorite French Broad beer.
This is a free event that is family and pet friendly. There will be live music all day, food vendors, craft vendors, and a fundraiser for @river.link!

🍻Art & Food Vendors market outside in the parking lot beginning at 1pm
🍻Live Music 2-10pm with @saylorbrothers then @jerrysdeadofficial then special guest, @its.teathyme
🍻Between sets we’ll be honoring memories and special community members who helped us rebuild.
🍻All day $1 from each pint sold will be donated to River Link’s River restoration project
Sunday August 10th we’re keeping the party going with
🍻Alvita’s Way from 3-4pm and
🍻 @chalwaroots from 4-7pm
🍻The food truck will be on site all afternoon!
We will also be celebrating the release of our seasonal special Zepptemberfest Märzen style beer and of course Jerry Week with Jerry’s Dead’s set on the 9th.
Again, this event is FREE & all are welcome. We’d love to celebrate with as many of you as possible💚💛💜

You truly never know what could happen at a Monday Jam with Bazemore & Friends…
Last Monday, something magical unfolded while Alex Bazemore and his crew were lighting up the room with their usual awesome jam, in walked Coleman Smith and Nick Piccininni from Yonder Mountain String Band - instruments in hand - and just like that, they hopped on stage and joined in. The group absolutely shredded in an unforgettable session that none of us saw coming, but will definitely be talking about for a while.
These are the moments that make Asheville’s music community so special, and we’re beyond thankful to be a part of it 💚

This week we’re shouting out the incredible Merck Brothers - aka Merck for Hire - who helped us rebuild our deck post-Helene. These guys completely redid the back porch, though you might not have even noticed… because it looks exactly the same 👀 But trust us, it’s brand new, sturdier than ever, and still keeps the brewery’s look and vibe perfectly intact.
Not only did the deck have to be rebuilt, but they couldn’t even truly begin until all the caked-up flood dirt was dug out from underneath, which was just another one of those bumps in the road that we trusted all of our contractors to handle with care. Huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers who jumped in and helped us tackle that mess, and added extra man (and woman) power to the project. We truly couldn’t have done it without this team effort.
We’re super grateful for Merck for Hire’s fast, professional work, and really we can’t recommend the duo enough for deck work, painting, pressure washing, staining, drywall repair, all of that jazz. Look them up and give them a call! Thanks again boys! 🍻
Midnight Paddle is back🌜🌙🌛
Swing by the taproom and be one of the first to taste the return of our Black IPA — the first batch we’ve brewed since reopening.
Midnight Paddle is a Black IPA that hits the perfect balance of roasty, refreshing, and smooth s can be. Brewed with pale, crystal, and black malts, then dry-hopped with Amarillo and Citra, it clocks in at 6.1% ABV. The dark, roasted malts are lifted by bright citrus notes in a surprisingly light-bodied pour, and of course, a signature smooth finish.
Somehow, this beer is unique, classic, and exciting all at once. It’s considered an old reliable for many of our regulars and many of us on the team, so we’re psyched to have it back.

☀️IT’S REGGAE SUNDAY☀️ and today is going to be a great one. If you’ve been thinking about coming to Reggae Sunday, but aren’t sure what to expect, let us try to convince you to come today!
1. It’s a beautiful day for some live music, hanging out on the patio, and drinking beer, and grabbing lunch.
2. Local food truck @brics_dipandroll is making their debut today at the taproom. Swipe to see the menu. Come out and support!
3. Midnight Paddle, our Black IPA is back on tap starting TODAY. Come be the first to give the first batch since last year a try.
4. Sundays are family & pet friendly so you can bring everyone you love❤️💛💚
5. Last but not least, @chalwaroots is just awesome. They’ve been playing reggae music for over 20 years. Just look at these guys! No one in town does a Sunday Funday better than them.
