Asheville’s Best Billy Strings Pre-Party: Warm Up before the February 14th show with Local Bands, Great Beer, Asheville Art Vendors, and a Bite to Eat at One of Asheville’s Favorite Local Live Music Hubs

If there is something us Ashevillians love, it’s when good old Billy Strings comes to town for a whopping four nights!! It brings the town to life and gives us reason to celebrate all week long, even outside of the shows. When we here at French Broad River Brewery thought about how we could help make the weekend special, we collaborated with our favorite local live music podcast and community members, All Jammed Up, as well as Records On The Wall, and decided to throw a party. Not just any party… a pre-party with some of the best local bands in town; to celebrate Billy, local music, local art, our special mountain town that so many travel to for the weekend, and the legend who shows so much love to Asheville, Billy Strings.

That being said, whether you’re local or visiting, we’d love to invite you all to our pre-party if you’re planning to take on the Billy Strings shows in Asheville on February 14th, 2026 (or if you’re not attending the shows and still want to join in on the fun)!

Tap into the local spirit before the arena doors open. Instead of heading straight downtown, make an afternoon of it! Our cozy brewery in Biltmore Village will transform into a celebration of local talent, craft beer, and beautiful community energy with the Asheville BMFS Pre-Party, presented by All Jammed Up Podcast and Records On The Wall.

What to Expect: A Real Asheville Afternoon

This is not just a warm-up show… think of it as a local musical experience of its own!

Craft Beer & Local Flavor
French Broad River Brewery is known for its rotating lineup of house-brewed beers and cozy, laid-back atmosphere that blends Asheville’s craft beer culture with its thriving live music scene. French Broad River Pizza is the restaurant on site, serving up pizza, sandwiches, wings, apps, and more.

High-Energy Local Bands
Three acts will take the stage throughout the afternoon:

• Shed Bugs: funk-forward improvisational grooves.
• Clouds Of Delusion: Dead-inspired jams you can’t help but dance to.
• Jacoozy: genre-bending NC talent, sure to never disappoint.

There’s a laid-back flow to the afternoon: dance if you want, or just kick back with a cold beer and enjoy the music, a bite to eat, and community.

In addition to tunes and taps, local creators will be on site with art and goods that are definitely worth browsing. It’s a great way to support Asheville creatives and discover something new while you’re at it.
